These Terms of Service govern requests for appliance repair and commercial kitchen equipment service from MAX Appliance Repair (“we,” “us,” or “our”), as well as use of maxserviceus.com. By scheduling service or using this website, you agree to these terms.
Scheduling and availability
A website form, phone call, or message is a request for service and is not a confirmed appointment until we contact you and confirm the date and time. Emergency calls are answered 24/7. Regular service hours are daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Same-day and after-hours on-site service depend on technician, location, and parts availability and are not guaranteed.
Diagnosis, estimates, and authorization
Any diagnostic or service-call fee will be disclosed before the visit or shown in the applicable estimate. After inspection, we may provide a written or electronic estimate describing the recommended work, parts, labor, and applicable charges. We will request approval before performing work outside the approved scope. An estimate may change if concealed damage, additional failures, unavailable parts, or different site conditions are discovered.
Payment, parts, and access
- Payment is due as stated on the estimate, work order, or invoice, including applicable taxes and approved parts deposits.
- Special-order parts may be subject to supplier availability, shipping delays, restocking charges, or non-refundable deposits when disclosed before ordering.
- You must provide safe and timely access to the appliance, utilities, shutoffs, and work area. Please secure pets and remove hazards or personal property that could prevent safe service.
- If an appointment must be changed or cancelled, contact us as soon as possible. Any cancellation or missed-appointment charge will apply only if disclosed when scheduling.
Warranties
Service and parts warranties, if any, are only those expressly stated on the applicable estimate, work order, or invoice. Warranties do not cover unrelated failures, pre-existing conditions, misuse, improper installation or maintenance by others, utility problems, pest or water damage, normal wear, or manufacturer and supplier exclusions. Nothing in these terms limits a right or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAX Appliance Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, including lost profits, business interruption, food or product loss, or loss of use, except where liability cannot legally be limited. Customers remain responsible for reasonable steps to protect food, inventory, property, and operations before and during service.
Website information and third-party services
We aim to keep website information accurate, but service descriptions, availability, pricing examples, and third-party links may change. Website content is provided for general information and does not replace an individual diagnosis or written estimate. Site text, graphics, logos, and original materials may not be copied or reused without permission except as allowed by law.
California law and changes
These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. We may update these terms by publishing a revised version and changing the “Last updated” date.
